Welcome to your e-newsletter from the Engagement Collaborative.

It’s packed full of engagement news, co-produced resources, children and young people’s voices and insights on a range of child health topics plus lots of up coming events and dates for your diary. We are offering a free one day course on planning engagement activities either in person on 20 June in London or online on 18 July, email us for more details and_us@rcpch.ac.uk

You can also find out about opportunities and resources to share with children, young people and families including a new leaflet to support health appointments online/in person/on the phone, guidance for families on external second opinions, the chance to join a climate change project and more.

Youth Social Action: new resource

Dr Das has been working with RCPCH &Us over the last year to create a youth social action toolkit for groups and schools to use locally to help build skills, understanding and solutions to support healthy lifestyles and healthy choices.

The toolkit includes an activity pack, videos, slide decks and lots of templates, links and resources to support youth social action projects led by young people.

Engagement in Integrated Care Systems

RCPCH &Us has worked with the South Yorkshire and Bassetlaw ICS to think about how best to engage children and young people in an ICS structure, how to amplify not duplicate voice and views and to think about influence and impact.  Our new leaflet can help you start discussions in your ICS.

Health inequalities for 10-25s

AYPH have been working with young people, clinicians and services to understand the impact of health inequalities on young people, the language to use when talking about it with young people and families and sharing data and guidance to improve thinking.

Download their helpful guidance poster (PDF) and explore the site for more advice and support.

If you have resources, projects or information on co-production, involvement, engagement, PPI or voice, please email and_us@rcpch.ac.uk.

Best wishes,
